And the story/mythology seems to be going from strength to strength as new movies, books, cartoon, TV series and video games come out. It makes you wonder who thinks up all these stories and if they have to get some kind of approval from Lucas before they are accepted.
All that can be said is that the creators of Star Wars have done a pretty good job. A reasonably new part of the Star Wars merchandise that will appeal to kids is the Clone Trooper Voice changer helmet. This is essentially a role playing helmet for children to act out their favorite scenes from the Star Wars movies or TV series. Or they can create their own adventures.
